1946 Pontiac Streamliner Fastback

Proud owner with his 1946 Pontiac fastback. The car has 'fake whitewall' tires. That were white rings to simulate the real whitewalls which ordinary people couldn't obtain directly after the war.

Pontiac Streamliners (fastbacks, sometimes also named 'Topedo') are full-sized cars. Pontiac produced them from the 1942 to the 1951 model years. Mechanically they are very similar to the prewar models. They are also related to the other GM makes. That are mostly Oldsmobile and Chevrolet.
