Proud owner with his 1946 Pontiac fastback. The car has ‘fake whitewall’ tires. That were white rings to simulate the real whitewalls which ordinary people couldn’t obtain directly after the war. A blue 1948 Pontiac is parked close to the school district in Eveleth MN. From the cars in the background I estimate the photo was shot ca.1953 The car is a Silver-Streak model. Note the chrome gravel guards.
