Cars parked in front of the State Capitol GA. I assume the date is ca.1954. Behind a ‘Gulf’ billboard ad points out ‘Go Smiling, Go Gulf’. 60 years later, a view by Googlemaps. Note that the Capitol roof has been layered with gold meanwhile:
The 1947 De Soto De Luxe was an antry level car type produced by Chrysler during 1939 to 1952. The company offered 2 and 4 door versions during this time. We can see the chrome trim is original on this De Soto and in very good shape. The car is almost 70 years old! More Read More …
