A 1940 Buick is obviously carrying people attending a wedding. According to the text, the photo is from junction Good Fellow Blv. and Maple Ave. in St.Louis MO

A check in Google Maps reveals this shot, hopefully pointing in the right the direction. All the buildings have changed. Only a church that cannot be seen in the vintage shot should also not be seen on the current photo. So this what I come up with:
