In the winter of 1979 a male body was washed ashore a WA river. He was buried in a nameless grave. It was only more than 40 years later he was identified as being Gary Lee Haynie. Relatives produced the image showing Gary as a boy with his dog. What exactly lead him to the Snohomish River remains a mystery, though.
