A blue Oldsmobile 66 2dr coupe, manufactured 1946. A rare car in the original color. The paint color schema of this year lists 'Caspian Blue' as code 74C.
A collector offered this coupe for sale in California a couple of years ago.
It is possible to distinguish them by their different bumpers on the A and B-body cars. The 66 line had 'less wrapped' bumpers than the 76 and 78 models.
The '66' was Oldsmobile's lowest priced line of cars. Olds offered thethem with six and eight cylinder 'inline' engines. It named the low range 66 and 68. ('8' is indicating the inline eight engines.) An example of a '78' line of cars is here.
