It is not a secret that many people appreciated their Oldsmobiles. The first time I see tears of an old man, standing close to his beloved 1949 Oldsmobile the last time before it is going to the crusher. His wife is more than sad, too...

From the license plates I assume the photo was taken somewhere in Panama, ca.1950

Seems the car hit an obstacle and turned over. Heavy damages visible, but the passengers might have been lucky. No lethal hit to the 'passenger cell' (as we would call it nowadays) happened, so the pain is probably not of physical nature.
