The 1950 Oldsmobile 98 sedan repeated what it did 1948: Preview some of next years styling cues for the 88. It was the first 'slab sided' Oldsmobile. It was also the first sedan with wraparound rear windows. Standard equipment was: Bumper guards, parking lamps, dual horns, dome light. Also rubber floor mats and aluminum sill plates. Foam rubber seat cushions and some chrome interior trim. The trunk had a lined luggage compartment and counterbalanced trunk lid.
Deluxe 98 equipment included the Deluxe electric clock, steering wheel and horn button. Olds also had rear seat armrest, special door trim and stainless steel wheel trim rings.
Standard tire size was 7.6 (193) by 15 inches. Sales of the 98 Holiday nearly tripled to 8263, approaching the 11,989 sold of the Club coupe.

This 1950 Oldsmobile 98 sedan is a bit worn, but original in and out. It is a very authentic and original Oldsmobile in a yellow color. The V8 motor needs some tune-up, but is also number correct for this car.
