About Me: I have been involved in the old car hobby for 25 years now. I am specialized in Oldsmobiles of the early post war years, ca.1946 to 1950. But I appreciate all kind of *original* cars between ca. 1935 to 1965. Besides Olds, I prefer the names Cadillac, Buick, Chevrolet and Pontiac.
The selection of cars reflect my preference. Sorry if you don't agree:-) I choose original cars with a history behind them and some personal touch. Low riders, chromed wheels, 'shaved' door handles - all this is not featured on these pages.
A good sign of originality is original upholstery, original trunk interior or on original engine bay. A repaint does not matter much in my opinion regarding the fact of 'originality'. A new drive train does. A new steering wheel matters. Yes, and some of these new steering wheels are real ugly...
